谁有资格领取 利记sbo 硬件?

All undergraduate students pursuing degrees at 利记sbo are eligible to receive hardware.


我将得到什么硬件?

学生 in the College of Architecture and Design and those majoring in Game 软件 Development may be eligible to pick up a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 G5.

学生 in the College of 工程 and those majoring in Architectural 工程 may be eligible to pick up a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 G5.

A wide variety of software is pre-installed on 利记sbo laptops for student use. 利记sbo strives to keep its students on the cutting edge of education with learning and industry-standard software applications.

Each year 利记sbo re-configures the 利记sbo laptops to specifications set by the individual colleges (Architecture and Design, 艺术与科学, 工程, 和CoBIT)以及他们各自的部门.

Each of the colleges or departments review and recommend that certain software be installed on the 利记sbo laptops. 这个软件配置是针对学生专业的.

The use of the hardware and software both in and out of the classroom is a integral part of 利记sbo's educational mission. The 笔记本电脑程序 (formerly the Laptop Initiative) was launched in the fall of 2000.

It is a dynamic program to assure that 利记sbo students are well prepared and positioned to take full advantage of advanced learning opportunities, 更多地获得教育资源, 并最终, 在工作场所获得竞争优势.

Are graduate and doctoral students required to have hardware and software?

Doctoral and graduate students are not included in the 笔记本电脑程序 and are generally not required to use hardware and software. 硬件 is not generally available for graduate students except those in the Master of Architecture or by exception. 有关可用软件，请点击 在这里 .

Yes, students can use their own equipment instead of participating in the 笔记本电脑程序.

学生 using personal hardware are wholly responsible for acquiring all software and meeting the technology standards required for their coursework. These technology standards and software editions can be very rapidly advancing in order to keep pace with ever changing industry standards.

学生 using personal equipment are responsible for their own insurance coverage. 也, 由于硬件或软件的差异, the Help Desk may be unable to provide problem resolution or software assistance on personal equipment. 也 the repair and exchange privileges and other services available through the Help Desk for 利记sbo laptops are not available for personal equipment.
